(Supporting characters)

Verma family

Sarla Verma (Aashi's Mother)

Sarla Verma is a quiet pillar in her mid-50s, who has spent her life holding her family together with warmth, tradition, and silence. Graceful and soft-spoken, she expresses love through gentle presence rather than grand gestures. She doesn't ask questions, but she knows more than she says, especially when it comes to Aashi. Now a devoted grandmother, Sarla finds joy in Anaya's giggles and peace in routine, believing that calm love speaks loudest when words fall short.

Ramesh Verma(Aashi's father)

A tall, composed man in his early 60s, Ramesh Verma is the quiet backbone of the Verma family. A corporate professional by career and an introvert by nature, he believes love is best shown through steady actions, not spoken words. Though emotionally reserved, he worries deeply about Aashi's silences and tries to protect her in the only way he knows, by making sure she and Anaya feel secure. He may not always understand emotions, but his loyalty is unwavering.

Aarav Verma

Aarav Verma, Aashi's older brother, is easygoing, witty, and quietly observant. Working in same hospital with her sister as a cardiothoracic surgeon, he balances modern life with a deep-rooted sense of family loyalty. He's the sibling who won't ask too many questions but will always show up when it counts with takeout, sarcasm, or a hand to hold. Though he doesn't know Aashi's whole story, he knows enough to give her space and love, without conditions.

Priya Verma(Aarav's Wife)

Priya Verma is warm, grounded, and effortlessly kind, the sort of person who can make a guest feel at home within minutes. She shares a quiet bond with Aashi, never pressing her for truths but always offering comfort through presence. Practical and emotionally intuitive, Priya is the calm in Aarav's whirlwind and the first to notice when something's off.

Vihaan Verma(Aarav's Son)

Vihaan, 6 years old, is full of energy, questions, and mischief. He adores Anaya like a big brother and often acts as her shield and sidekick in the most unexpected ways. With his sketchbooks, cricket bat, and wide-eyed wonder, Vihaan brings a softness to the family - and unknowingly, helps Aashi rediscover joy in the little things.

Dr. Ira Sharma

Dr. Ira Sharma was once Aashi's closest confidante sharp, ambitious, and unshakably loyal. But ambition turned into rivalry, and a betrayal cut their bond without closure. Now a respected surgeon, Ira carries both pride and regret. Her presence in Aashi's world is a quiet reminder that trust, once broken, rarely returns unchanged.

Gill family

Kavita Gill(Shubman's mother)

Kavita Gill is a perfect example of elegance, warm, wise, and effortlessly intuitive. In her mid-50s, she's the emotional heart of the Gill household, always sensing what others refuse to say. A nurturing mother who championed Shubman's dreams from the sidelines, she now quietly longs for him to find happiness beyond the cricket pitch. Though she believes love can heal anything, she's learning that some truths require more than affection they need courage.

Rajiv Gill(Shubman's father)

With a sharp suit and a sharper sense of duty, Rajiv Gill commands every room he enters. In his late 50s, he values discipline, honor, and reputation above all traits he's tried to pass on to Shubman. Proud yet reserved, he sees emotions as distractions, not directions. But beneath the composure lies a man wrestling with the realization that love especially parental may not always follow rules or logic.

Rhea Gill

Rhea Gill, Shubman's younger sister is vibrant, outspoken, and refreshingly grounded. She's the heartbeat of their home, never shy to speak truth and never afraid to laugh loud. While growing up in her brother's spotlight, she carved her own identity with charm and emotional insight. Fiercely protective, Rhea sees through Shubman's silences and is determined to push him toward life and love he deserves.

Dev chauhan

Dev Chauhan is Shubman's best friend and India's charming all-rounder he is bold, loud, and fiercely loyal. Always ready with a joke or a jab, Dev is the emotional glue in the chaos of cricket life. He's more like a brother than a teammate, often reading Shubman's silences before anyone else does. Beneath his playful exterior lies a heart that keeps his friends grounded, especially when they need it most.
